The mission was to pack as much into two weeks as possible. We departed Philadelphia at 6:33AM Friday March 9th, 2001, and after about 19 hours flying time, we arrived in Sydney at 10:25PM Satuday March 10th, 2001. This was my first time crossing the Equator and the International Date Line.
I had a real difficult time observing the Coriolis Effect, as the sink drains there were very aggressive and did not give the water time to setup the familiar whirlpool drainage pattern.
